Pumpkins, cake and gummie worms...

(warning: a lot of pictures!)
For Aidan's Birthday we decided to visit Apple Annie's Orchard in Wilcox.  It was one of the few Saturdays that we didn't have soccer games.   This was our fist visit here.  We have wanted to visit this farm for a while... but when we lived in Mesa there were just to many other farms... a whole lot closer!
Grandma and Grandpa joined us in the morning and a few hours later our cousins Abbie, Landon and Connie joined us.
We snapped a few pictures on the pumpkins.  I love the group picture of my kids.  Their expressions are priceless!

We wandered through the sunflowers for a while.  There were a ton of bees.  They really freaked Aidan out.  He's been pretty scared of them after he was stung about a month back.

I'm pretty sure their favorite part was the troff full of corn.  They probably would have played in it all day.
Yum....

Claire wouldn't get in it.  This was close enough.
 Daddy being a kid.

Robbie took this picture of Syd.
The only reason we stopped played in the corn was because Grandma and Grandpa got there.  So we went over to the corn maze next.

The kids had a lot of fun reading the questions and figuring out which way to go.

After the maze.  Jacob and Lindsey came with the kids.  We all went on the hay ride to pick some pumpkins.

When we got back the bee's weren't as bad in the sun flowers and Grandma helped the kids pick a few.
Finally it was time for cake and presents!  The only request Aidan had for his birthday was to have a bug cake.  So I made him a worm cake with apples around it  (because we went to "Apple Annie's"  *wink*).

 After cake he opened presents.

Everyone was getting pretty tired so we decided to call it a day.
My mom snapped a picture of us before we left.  This was the only one with us all looking.  It makes me laugh too!  I like pictures that make me laugh :)
Happy Birthday Aidan!  I can't believe my little baby boy is 4 now.
