The girls really wanted to try gymnastics instead of dance this year. We decided to put Aidan in too... get a little bit of that extra energy out of him!! They are in love. I'm sure we will eventually put them in dance again some day but for now this is definitely were they are happiest. They had a recital a while back and then had a tournament (which was basically a time for us to sit and watch what they have learned).
They all received metals. The top three kids in the class received a trophy. Sydney was a little sad... we missed one of the days were they were tallying the scores of all of the tricks they could do so hers was only half full. She probably would have had a chance to have placed and she knew it. But we both agreed she would just have to try harder next year (and make it to practice!).

cute stuff and kids...enjoy them while they are young cuz they grow up so fast...
ReplyDeleteAww, this was a great post, Megs! I felt a little sad that your kids are growing up so fast, and that I can't be there to witness it, but your pictures and videos are helping. I especially loved the ones of Claire singing non-stop! :) Maybe if the numbers were set to a song she would be more interested in saying all of them? ;) Love you, love your family!
