So I absolutely don't know how this happened... but somehow my baby turned three! Three! Can you believe that? She really isn't a baby anymore (although she wants to be). I definitely have struggled with letting her get away with to much. My other children (as babies) were dethroned by a new infant sibling by the time they were two. So, needless to say, Claire has taken on the roll as baby very well, and I have not stopped her! She is such a sweet and sassy little girl. Even at this age you can tell what a good heart she has. She loves to share and doesn't like to see people sad. Aidan has already caught on to this trait of hers. When she takes something from him (or on occasion) doesn't share, he with make a sad face and act upset.... she falls for it every time! Claire still loves her blanky and loves her dolls and brushing her Barbie's or Rapunzel's hair.
The weather had been really great the week following her birthday, so instead of messing up my house I thought we could just have a little party at the park. It was a little hotter then I had hoped! Luckily, we had very little planned beside some pizza and cupcakes.
Robbie had just gotten back from camping with the kids earlier that day. Poor Aidan was pretty sunburnt!
She was so excited for her presents!
Grandma made her lots of clothes for her dolls! And got her a cute desk for them too.
Of coarse her "Tangled" doll was a big hit!
Grandma took the pieces from her nursery bedding (beside the tattered comforter) and made her a new blanky! She was super excited.
She was also excited to get a princes baby doll (that she drags around everywhere) and a new dress with sparkly shoes to match (which she wears so much they are already looking worn).
Time for cake!
The kids got back home and were happy to just play and relax. They had a busy weekend.
Hope you had a fantastic birthday miss Claire!!
