Preschool Boy!

Yes, my 2yr 11m old boy just started preschool. Let me explain a bit. Aidan is a little behind in his speech. He was getting some home therapy but now that he is old enough for the public school system he gets to be in big boy school. Speech is his only delay and he is improving every day. He is so excited to go to school just like his big sisters do. He already knows the teacher and the classroom. Mrs. "S" was Sydney's teacher and is still Lily's. In fact... Aidan was born the first year Syd started in Mrs. S's class. She even held him as a baby... sniff. He also shares the bus with his next door neighbor, Mikayla, who is in the other preschool class. The driver sits them together and I think they both enjoy that. So now Aidan goes to school in the morning and Lily in the afternoon. They only see each other as they are trading spots on the bus. I predict much less fighting in the house! Hurray. Claire takes a pretty good nap in the morning too. Lily is already showing signs of boredom in the mornings with no one to play with... she'll adjust.

Aidan wore his glasses into the class but took them off and gave them to his teacher before he even sat down.
He was so excited he could hardly contain himself! He picked out this spider man backpack the day before.

I drove him the first day but I let him take his bus home. He's been waiting to get on that bus for years! ;)

Oh, did you notice his hair cut? We think it makes him look more grown up. Not sure if I want him to look grown up..lol.
